My teaching journey began in 2022, inspired by my passion for helping others and my desire to share the knowledge I’ve built over 15+ years in digital marketing.

At the time, I was feeling unfulfilled in my day job. I’d always loved the creative side of marketing, but I wanted to do work that actually helped people. Teaching on Skillshare started as a creative outlet - a way to share what I’d learned and make marketing feel more human, accessible, and enjoyable again. I chose Skillshare because it’s a platform I’ve personally learned from for years. It’s where I developed skills like video editing and storytelling, so joining the same community as a teacher felt like coming full circle.

Since launching my first class (as part of Skillshare’s Summer Teach Challenge, when I almost didn’t hit publish!), I’ve had the privilege of teaching over 4,800 students around the world. I’m now part of Skillshare’s Top Teacher programme, which recognises the top 2% of teachers for quality and student engagement - something I’m incredibly proud of.

More than anything, what keeps me teaching are the messages from students who say my classes have helped them feel confident again. That’s what it’s all about for me, creating supportive, practical learning experiences that make marketing feel less like pressure and more like progress.
