Digital Products & Course Terms

Last updated: September 2026

These terms apply to online courses and digital products purchased directly from Louise Laurie Marketing through louise-laurie.co.uk.

By purchasing, accessing or using a paid course or digital product from this website, you confirm that you have read and agree to these terms, together with the Website Terms and Privacy Policy.

If you do not agree to these terms, you should not purchase or access the relevant course or digital product.

1. What you are purchasing

Digital products may include online courses, video lessons, ebooks, prompt packs, worksheets, templates, guides and other downloadable or online educational resources.

The specific content included in your purchase will be described on the relevant sales or course page at the time of purchase.

2. Course access and accounts

Where you purchase an online course, access is provided through your customer account on this website.

Courses are self-paced unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for keeping your account details secure and must not share your login or course access with another person.

Where a course is sold with ongoing access, there is no fixed deadline for completing it while the course remains available.

You are responsible for ensuring that the email address associated with your customer account is accurate and kept up to date.

3. Course retirement and updates

Louise Laurie Marketing may update, replace or retire courses over time, particularly where third-party tools, platforms or information have changed.

If a purchased course is going to be permanently removed, I will aim to give existing customers at least 30 days’ notice by email, wherever reasonably possible.

Where downloadable resources are available, customers may wish to save copies for their own permitted use before a course is retired.

4. Licence and permitted use

When you purchase a course or digital product, you receive a limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the materials for your own personal and internal business use.

You may use and adapt prompts, templates, worksheets and similar resources within your own business.

You may not:

  • share your customer account or course access with another person

  • redistribute, upload or otherwise make paid materials available to others

  • resell, sublicense or give away the original resources

  • reproduce, record, publish or redistribute course videos

  • remove copyright or ownership notices from the materials

  • present the original course or resources as your own work

  • use the materials to create a substantially identical product for resale

  • upload paid resources to shared drives, online communities, file-sharing websites or other locations where people who have not purchased them can access them

The licence granted to you may be withdrawn if these terms are materially breached.

Copyright and ownership of the original course and digital materials remain with Louise Laurie Marketing.

5. Educational purpose and results

Courses and digital products are provided for educational and informational purposes.

I aim to provide practical, accurate and useful marketing guidance, but I do not guarantee any particular business, marketing, SEO, financial or commercial result.

Your outcomes will depend on your own business, audience, circumstances, decisions and implementation.

Examples, case studies or results discussed in course materials are provided for illustration only and do not guarantee that you will achieve the same or similar outcome.

You remain responsible for deciding how to apply the information to your own circumstances.

Where a course involves AI tools, you are responsible for reviewing AI-generated research, recommendations, claims, content or other outputs before relying on or using them.

6. Third-party platforms and tools

Courses may demonstrate or refer to third-party platforms and services, including ChatGPT, Google, Squarespace and other software.

These services are operated independently and may change their interfaces, features, availability, pricing, terms or functionality at any time.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, purchasing a course does not include access to any paid third-party subscription, software or service.

Louise Laurie Marketing is not responsible for the availability, operation or continued functionality of third-party services outside my reasonable control.

7. Accuracy, revisions and updates

I make reasonable efforts to ensure course and digital-product materials are accurate when they are created.

Because marketing platforms, AI tools, search engines and other digital services change regularly, screenshots, interfaces, features, recommendations or processes shown in a course may change after publication.

Materials may also contain occasional typographical, technical or other errors.

I may update or correct course materials where appropriate, but I do not guarantee that every third-party feature demonstrated will remain available indefinitely.

8. External links

Courses and digital resources may contain links to third-party websites or services.

I am not responsible for the content, availability, security, terms or privacy practices of external websites.

The inclusion of a link does not necessarily mean that I endorse the website, business, service or information provided there.

9. Prices and payment

The price shown on the relevant sales or course page at the time of purchase is the price payable.

Unless stated otherwise, prices are displayed in GBP.

Payment must be made using the payment methods available at checkout.

Access to an online course or digital product will normally be provided once payment has been successfully processed.

10. Cancellation and refunds

If you purchase a course or digital product online, you have a statutory right to cancel your purchase within 14 days of the date of purchase, unless you have expressly agreed to immediate supply of the digital content and acknowledged that you will lose that cancellation right once access begins.

At present, where that express consent and acknowledgement have not been collected at checkout, you may contact me within 14 days of purchase if you wish to cancel.

After the applicable 14-day cancellation period has ended, I do not offer refunds simply because you have changed your mind, no longer wish to use the product, or have not completed the course.

This does not affect your statutory consumer rights. If digital content is faulty, materially different from its description or does not meet applicable legal requirements, you may be entitled to an appropriate remedy under UK consumer law.

If you experience a technical problem accessing your purchase or believe a course or digital product is not as described, please contact louise@louise.laurie.co.uk so I can investigate and try to resolve the issue.

11. Technical requirements

You are responsible for having a suitable internet connection, device and any third-party accounts or software required to access or use the product.

Where a course requires or recommends access to a particular third-party tool, this will be explained on the relevant course page wherever possible.

If there is a technical issue with access provided through this website, please contact me and I will make reasonable efforts to resolve it.

12. Availability of the website and course platform

I aim to keep course content and customer accounts reasonably accessible, but I cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access at all times.

Temporary interruptions may occur because of maintenance, updates, technical issues or outages affecting Squarespace or other third-party services.

Where reasonably possible, I will work to restore access or provide an appropriate alternative if an issue within my control materially affects your ability to access a purchased product.

13. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful to do so or affects your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to those rights, Louise Laurie Marketing is not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses arising from how you choose to apply educational course content, or for changes, interruptions or failures affecting third-party platforms outside my reasonable control.

You remain responsible for your own business decisions and for reviewing information before acting on it.

14. Privacy and personal information

Personal information used to process purchases, create customer accounts and provide access to digital products is handled in accordance with the Privacy Policy on this website.

Please refer to the Privacy Policy for information about what personal information is collected, why it is used, how long it is retained and your data-protection rights.

15. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in my products, website, business practices or legal requirements.

Changes will not remove any statutory rights that applied to a purchase when it was made.

Where a change materially affects an existing paid course or digital product, I will aim to communicate it where reasonably appropriate.

16. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Nothing in these terms affects any statutory rights you may have as a consumer.
