I developed and delivered a three-part live online email marketing masterclass for small-business owners through Oxford College of Marketing.

The course was designed to take learners from the foundations of email marketing through to planning, creating and improving their own campaigns. My aim was to make the subject practical and approachable while connecting individual email activities to wider business and marketing goals.

Course content

The three sessions covered:

  • The role and benefits of email marketing

  • Campaign types and common misconceptions

  • Setting objectives and identifying meaningful KPIs

  • Audience segmentation and ethical list growth

  • GDPR, consent and expectation-setting

  • Choosing an appropriate email platform

  • Email structure, content and subject lines

  • Deliverability, testing and optimisation

  • Measurement, automation and nurture sequences
